in my experience OMEMO isn't straightforward to set up in a way that doesn't leak information with anything other than text. It's too complicated for normies.

I disagree, because the few steps needed can be taught to literal #TechIlliterates within minutes, and I did so several times, walking them through.
- We as #TechLiterates are responsible to teach #TechLiteracy to #TechIlliterate "#Normies", or we deserve then damnation through our own hubris!

When I send attachments to my contacts it goes in the clear. If I force encryption in monocles then the connection stops working completely. This has been my experience
