You have purchasing power, use it wisely. You think you are an individual who has no impact but your subscriptions, preorders and purchases to these companies matter a lot.
If you dislike something a company or a brand is doing, stop buying that brand and stick to it. Don't go back just because they wised up and said sorry.
Make them prove it. Make them sorry they did it in the first place. Make it financially the worst decision they ever made. This is the only way they learn because the board members at the company only care about profits and making the shareholders happy~

Corporate greed sent me back to piracy after over 20 years of being a good little subscriber.
Now that I've invested in a European-based Plex server, it will take a lot to bring me back.
$50 a month for access to all content without ads would do it, but that won't happen.
