I just wanna say, media needs to stop saying that the US wants to "annex" Canada.
It's War. Just call it war.
When polling companies ask this question, just say: Should we go to war with Canada?
It's far more honest to ask it this way.

@fennix We should not forget that the arrogant bumblefucks in the south honestly think that Canada wants it. "Heim ins Reich", as we Germans called it when the Führer was fed up with people calling him an Austrian.
@fennix it’s no different than Russia wanting to recolonize Ukraine. As an American, I find this sudden and total ruination of our deep friendship beyond repugnant.
@fennix indeed! I've been lamenting this softened language too. Their rhetoric literally means they propose coming here to kill us and our families and take our land and resources.
It's the stark truth and we probably need to add that we'd defend ourselves with lethal force in the face of that as well.
